This is a regular monthly weed control work party during the growing season. If we clear weeds once a month, there won't be many at any given time.   

We'll trim invasive weeds from community property: 

• Blackberries, Scotch broom, and thistle from the beach park
• Willow, knotweed and blackberries from the path between Kohlwes and Lincoln Streets, including the boardwalk

We'll also weed around the fire pit.

Wear enclosed shoes or boots, long-sleeved clothing, long pants, sunglasses or eye protection, and work gloves to protect against blackberry thorns and thistle spines. 

What to bring

Bring loppers or other tools for cutting blackberry and willow growth and/or tools for digging weeds from around the fire pit.
